Using Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word is a word processing application used to create, edit, and format documents.

Creating a New Document

  1. Open Microsoft Word.
  2. Click Blank Document to start a new file.

Basic Features

  1. Typing and Editing:
    • Type text using the keyboard.
    • Use the Backspace or Delete key to remove text.
  2. Saving a Document:
    • Click File > Save As.
    • Choose a location and name your file.
  3. Formatting Text:
    • Use the toolbar to change font, size, and color.
    • Apply bold, italic, or underline styles.

Adding Images

  1. Click Insert > Pictures.
  2. Select an image from your computer and click Insert.

Printing a Document

  1. Click File > Print.
  2. Select your printer and click Print.
