Navigating the Internet
The internet is a vast network of information, and a web browser is your gateway to accessing it.
What is a Web Browser?
A web browser is an application used to access websites. Popular browsers include:

Opening a Web Browser
- Click the browser’s icon on the desktop or taskbar.
- Type the address of a website (e.g.,
www.google.com) in the address bar and pressEnter.
Navigating Websites
- Links: Click on links to navigate to other pages.
- Back and Forward Buttons: Use these buttons to move between pages.
- Refresh Button: Reloads the current page.
Using Search Engines
Search engines like Google or Bing help you find information:

Bookmarking Websites
Bookmarks allow you to save websites for quick access:
