Amazon has changed the game on how we have been perceiving the servers where we will store our solutions. Our solution could be a mobile application or web or other – and at the end it needs a place to be accessed by all the users.
Traditionally, companies used to have the servers pretty much on the next room where they will be operating their day to day activities. The reason ranges from keeping the servers to their heart to having no other alternative.
The above solution has worked for a while with lots of problems associated with it. It needs a dedicated babysitter for the servers, it takes a lot of room and energy, it is noisy, it is prone to physical damage and more. The above problems and others are solved with AWS.
Still the physical servers are kept somewhere but the difference is now, amazon is going to keep them up and running with much better performance.
This course dives into the how and why of the AWS. Allowing students to have hands on experience on AWS from simple user management to complex scenarios.
